Postage Orders

We send all of our online dress hires via express post with a return satchel included for your ease. All online orders that require postage MUST be placed the Friday week prior to the hire. This allows for us to get the dress to you in a timely manner and allows a few extra days for any unforeseen circumstances

 

Cleaning + Damages

Standard cleaning costs are included in the price of your dress hire. We request that all garments are returned unwashed. If garments are returned in a condition where they require extra cleaning there will be an additional cleaning fee of $20.

Damages, accidents happen! We get it! If a garment is damaged then we ask that you contact The Higher Style as soon as possible so we can arrange for repairs. If The Higher Style deems the garment to be re worn / re rented then you will be liable for the full RRP.

 

Collection + Returns

For local pickups these will be arrange with the individual hirer to suit their timeframes, generally this is the Thursday prior to the Saturday hire. Return dates are due the by COB of post the weekend hire. Unfortunately, late returns will incur a $30 fee per day that the garment is retained by the customer.

Try On’s

Customers are welcome to try on garments locally prior to the hire. As a standard try on appointments are held Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. You can book a try on session on our home page.

Appointments are 20 minutes, if you arrive late this will mean that you are allowed less time in the studio.

If there is a specific garment you wish to try on we advise you reach out as we cannot always guarantee it will be in at the time of your try on session.

Identification + Security

Upon booking all customers will be asked for proof of identification to go with the hire. We will keep this on file for security purposes until the garment has been returned in good condition.
